Hotel Sages began as a creative art studio, built between tropical ricefields and vibrant canggu. A collaborative project born out of the global pandemic as a place to gather, create and connect through pottery, painting and other live events.
As Bali’s local tourism evolved, so did the hotel, first with a few guestrooms, daily art programs and now 9 individual rooms with their own unique essence.
A Sage in philosophy is a body of knowledge attributed to wise men and women in communities and is regarded to be philosophically significant for both its content and its critical approach to the sustenance and growth of knowledge at the communal level. We believe that every one of us, attains the wisdom of a sage and by creating a space which encourages self love and prioritising health and wellness, we hope to unveil the sage that lives within us all.
Our daily ritual of ‘Canang Sari’ are given to the gods every morning by our Hindu Balinese staff as a form of thanks for balance and peace in our world that is renewed each day.
